Healing the Invisible Wounds
Trauma Therapy in Lynnwood, WA & Seattle WA and Washington State

Reclaim your story. Reconnect with yourself.

f you’ve experienced trauma—whether it was a single overwhelming event or the slow drip of emotional neglect, criticism, or disconnection—you might feel like you’re always in survival mode.
You may find yourself:

  • Overthinking everything and never feeling safe in your own skin

  • Emotionally numb one moment, and flooded the next

  • Carrying a deep shame that’s hard to name

  • Struggling in relationships, even when you want to feel close

  • Exhausted by the effort it takes to “hold it all together”

Maybe you’ve told yourself “It wasn’t that bad” or “Other people had it worse”—but your body, your emotions, and your inner world tell a different story.

Trauma isn’t just what happened to you. It’s also what didn’t happen: the safety, attunement, and care you may not have received when you needed it most.

You Don’t Have to Carry This Alone

🌿🌿🌿
Trauma therapy can help you make sense of what you've been through—without having to relive every detail.
You’ll learn how to:

✓Understand how trauma lives in the body, not just the mind

✓Identify and work with protective parts of you (like the critic, the overachiever, or the emotional wall)

✓Gently reconnect with your inner child or younger selves who needed more love, support, and safety

✓Reclaim your voice, your worth, and your sense of wholeness

How I Work With Trauma

I blend three powerful, body-based and trauma-informed approaches:

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing): Helps you reprocess traumatic memories and reduce their emotional charge

  • IFS (Internal Family Systems): Supports healing by helping you connect with the parts of you that developed in response to trauma

  • Somatic Experiencing: Brings the body into the process, so healing can be felt—not just understood

This work isn’t about fixing you—it’s about coming home to yourself in a way that feels safe, empowering, and compassionate.

Specializing in Complex Trauma and Generational Trauma

Many of my clients didn’t experience a single traumatic event—but rather, years of chronic stress, emotional neglect, or the pressure to meet unrealistic expectations. You may have been the one who held everything together, even as your own needs were overlooked.

Others come in carrying the invisible weight of generational trauma—patterns of survival, silence, or shame passed down through families or shaped by systemic oppression. This kind of trauma often lives in the body and nervous system, even when we can’t fully name it.

My approach honors the complexity of your story. I offer a space where trauma, identity, and culture can be explored with compassion—so healing isn’t just about coping, but about reclaiming your voice, your worth, and your sense of connection to self and community.

Healing is your birthright.

You weren’t meant to live in constant survival mode. You weren’t meant to carry the weight of your past alone. Even if no one ever showed you how to rest, feel safe, or be fully yourself—you are still worthy of that kind of life. Healing isn’t about erasing what happened to you. It’s about reclaiming your body, your voice, your boundaries, your joy. No matter where you’re starting from, healing is possible—and it belongs to you.
