Tour My EMDR Therapy Office: A Welcoming Space for EMDR Intensives

Healing from trauma is deeply personal, and the environment in which you do this work matters. That’s why I’ve designed my EMDR therapy office to be a calm, welcoming, and trauma-informed space, perfect for clients who are doing EMDR intensives in person.

In this blog, I want to give you a peek inside my office and share what makes it conducive to deep healing. I’ve also included a video tour, so you can see the space for yourself.

What Is an EMDR Intensive?

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a powerful therapy for processing and healing trauma, including childhood wounds, complex PTSD, and painful life experiences.

While many people experience EMDR in weekly sessions, some choose intensive sessions, which condense multiple sessions into one or a few consecutive days. These intensives allow for deeper healing in a shorter period.

Creating the right environment is key. A welcoming, calming space helps your nervous system feel supported and allows the therapy to be more effective.

Why the Right Space Matters

Trauma affects the body as much as the mind. Being in a quiet, soothing, and safe environment can help you:

  • Feel more grounded during sessions

  • Reduce anxiety or hyperarousal

  • Access and process difficult memories more effectively

My office is designed to support all of this, so clients can focus fully on their healing.
